Arrival Instructions

 

Arrival Times

Doors open at 4:30pm ET each evening. Please arrive 1 hour prior to the first artist you’d like to see. Music will start at approximately 4:30pm ET. 

GA Ticket Holders can enter the Convention Center through the main doors on Broad St at Cherry St. Re-entry is not permitted. All fans must be 18+ to enter HiJinx. 

Tickets will be delivered to your mobile device by December 27th. You will be able to transfer tickets to your squad at that time. **ALL TRANSFERS WILL END DECEMBER 29 AT 5PM ET. AFTER THAT TIME, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TRANSFER TICKETS** 

Where to Go When You Arrive

GA Ticket Holders can enter the Convention Center through the main doors on Broad St at Cherry St. Re-entry is not permitted. All fans must be 18+ to enter HiJinx. 

The Box Office is located on Arch St at the corner of Broad & Arch (northeast corner of Arch). 

Please note ADA Entry is located at the box office entrance located on Arch St at the corner of Broad & Arch Street (northeast corner of Arch). There are elevators located just inside to get patrons to the main floor of the event. 

VIP Entrance / Check-In is located at the southeast corner of Broad & Race street. Check-In with staff in Exhibit Hall G.

The Box Office is located on Arch St at the corner of Broad & Arch (northeast corner of Arch). 

The Box Office will open at 4pm ET on Thursday, December 29 & Friday, December 30.

Getting Here

HiJinx Music Festival will take place in Philadelphia, PA – Pennsylvania Convention Center. 

The Pennsylvania Convention Center is located at 1101 Arch St, Philadelphia, PA 19107, but the main entrance to the festival is located on Broad St at Cherry St. 

Directions

The Pennsylvania Convention Center is located in the heart of Center City Philadelphia at 1101 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107, but the main entrance to the festival is located on Broad St at Cherry St.  

The facility spans more than six blocks and is easily accessible by car, train, taxi, regional rail at Jefferson Station, and bus. In fact, 40 percent of the U.S. population lives within a day’s drive of the Convention Center.

There are many parking options—both garages and lots—conveniently located within blocks of the Pennsylvania Convention Center. 

 

From The Northern and Western Suburbs
  • Take I-76 East to Exit 344 for I-676 East.
  • Follow signs for Central Philadelphia.
  • Take I-676 East and exit at Broad Street/Rt. 611 (2nd exit).
  • You will be on Vine Street.
  • Follow Vine Street to 12th Street (4 traffic lights).
From I-95 Northbound, Philadelphia International Airport, Baltimore, Washington, Delaware
  • Take I-95 North to Exit 22 for Central Philadelphia I-676.
  • Stay in the left lane of this exit.
  • Follow signs for 676 West to the 1st exit (Broad Street).
  • This exit brings you up onto 15th St.
  • Get into the left lane and follow the sign for 611/Broad Street and make a left turn on to Vine Street.
  • Follow signs for Vine Street/PA Convention Center.
  • Make a right on to 12th Street.
  • The entrances to the Convention Center are located two blocks ahead at the NE and NW corners of 12th & Arch Streets.
From I-95 Southbound, New York, Northern and Central New Jersey
  • Take I-95 South to Exit 22 for Central Philadelphia I-676.
  • Stay in the left lane of this exit.
  • Follow signs for 676 West to the 1st exit (Broad Street).
  • This exit brings you up onto 15th St.
  • Get into the left lane and follow the sign for 611/Broad Street and make a left turn on to Vine Street.
  • Follow signs for Vine Street/PA Convention Center.
  • Make a right on to 12th Street.

From Pennsylvania Turnpike
  • Follow Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 20 / I-476 (Mid County Interchange).
  • Take I-476 South to Exit 16/ I-76E Philadelphia.
  • Stay on I-76 East for approximately 12 miles.
  • Exit at 344 / I- 676 East.
  • Take I-676 East and exit at Broad Street/Rt. 611 (2nd exit).
  • You will be on Vine Street.
  • Follow Vine Street to 12th (4 traffic lights).
From The New Jersey Turnpike (New York)
  • Take the NJ Turnpike to exit 4 (Philadelphia / Camden Exit).
  • Get onto 73 North and follow it to 38 West.
  • Take 38 West following the signs directing to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge (The Bridge is 30 West), crossing into Philadelphia.
  • Follow the signs for Convention Center (this is Vine Street).
  • Go approximately 6 blocks, make a left turn onto 12th Street.
From PA 309
  • Take PA 309 South to Pennsylvania Turnpike.
  • Follow Turnpike West to Exit Mid County Interchange / 476S Chester.
  • Take I-476 South to Exit 16 / I-76 Philadelphia.
  • Stay on I-76 East for approximately 12 miles.
  • Exit at 344 / I- 676 East.
  • Take 676 East and exit at Broad Street/Rt. 611 (2nd exit).
  • You will be on Vine Street.
  • Follow Vine Street to 12th Street (4 traffic lights).
From US 611
  • Take US 611 South into Philadelphia (611 South becomes Broad Street).
  • Go South on Broad Street for approximately 8 miles.
  • In Center City, turn left onto Vine Street / Local Traffic.
  • Follow Vine Street to 12th Street (2 traffic lights).
From Lehigh Valley and Northeastern Pennsylvania
  • Take the Northeast Extension of the Turnpike I-476 towards Philadelphia
  • Take Mid-County Exhig and merge onto I-476 South
  • Take I-476 South to Exit 16 / I-76 E Philadelphia
  • Stayon I-76 for approximately 12 miles
  • Exit at 344/ I-676 East
  • Take I-676 East and exit at Broad Street/ Rt. 611 (2nd exit)
  • You will be on Vine Street
  • Follow Vine Street to 12th (4 traffic lights)
From New Jersey and Atlantic City Area
  • Take Atlantic City Expressway to 42 North.
  • Follow 42 North to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge (Rt. 676), crossing into Philadelphia.
  • Follow the signs for Convention Center (this is Vine Street).
  • Go approximately 6 blocks, make a left turn onto 12th Street.

Box Office

The Box Office is located on Arch St at the corner of Broad & Arch (northeast corner of Arch). 

The Box Office will open at noon ET on Thursday, December 29 & Friday, December 30. 

The Box Office will close at 11:30pm ET on Thursday, December 29 & Friday, December 30. 

Limited VIP Upgrades will be available at the Box Office! 

VIP Passes

CHECK-IN 

VIP Entrance / Check-In is located at the southeast corner of Broad St & Race Street. Check-In with staff in Exhibit Hall G. 

VIP Ticket Holders can check-in as early as noon ET on December 29. When you check-in, you will receive your poster, commemorative laminate & VIP wristband. We encourage all VIPs to come early so you can pick up your gear before the festival begins & bring it back to your car/hotel/crib before entering the festival. 

All fans must have their ticket scanned for entry each day to gain access to the festival itself. Be sure to keep your wristband intact as that is what will allow you access to both the VIP Lounge & VIP Viewing Areas once inside the festival.  

VIP Ticket Holders can enter the venue at 4:20pm ET. Re-entry is not permitted. 

COAT CHECK 

VIP Ticket holders have access to a complimentary coat check when entering the event (located in G Hall next to VIP Check In). This coat check is located directly next to the VIP Check-In area just inside the main VIP Entrance. 

VIP VIEWING AREA 

The VIP Viewing Area is located in the main event room next to the stage (to the left when facing the stage). This area will include exclusive bar locations (for cashless purchase), viewing deck, water station and restrooms. 

VIP LOUNGE  

All new for 2022 is the exclusive VIP LOUNGE located at the top of the VIP Entrance escalators / stairs outside the main event room. This area will include an exclusive bar (for cashless purchase), lounge seating & complimentary Liquid Death natural mountain water. 

CONCIERGE 

The On-Site Event Concierge can help with all festival questions. They will be located at the VIP Check-In Area. 

ID GUIDELINES

Acceptable forms of ID include: 

  • US government-issued driver license or ID card displaying a photograph and date of birth. 
  • US or foreign government-issued passport displaying a photograph and date of birth. 
  • Foreign government-issued driver license with a color photocopy of a foreign government-issued passport with both documents displaying both a photograph and date of birth. 

  

The following forms of ID will not be accepted: 

  • School identification cards. Consular identification cards. 
  • Expired identification of any kind, even if listed on the “Acceptable” list. 
  • Birth certificates. 
  • Photocopies of any identification document except as noted in the “Acceptable” list.

Prohibited Items

• Non clear bags or containers larger than 12” x 6” x 12” (or exceeding 864 cubic inches total volume). Clear bags larger than a small clutch bag (4.5” x 6.5”) should be composed of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC with a single compartment.
• Backpacks and other multi-compartment bags larger than a small clutch bag (4.5” x 6.5”). An exception may be made for medically necessary after proper inspection. Please note these items will be searched and tagged. ***No large, framed packs permitted.
• Over the head helmets or full costume heads
• Weapons of any kind
• Glass in any form
• Any professional cameras, any video, and/or any audio equipment (including Go Pros)
• Tripods, monopods, and selfie-sticks
• Unsealed: cigarette packages, tampons, packs of gum, chap stick/lip gloss
• Eye drops
• Focus light beam devices of any kind, including laser pointers
• Balloons, balls, Frisbees, and/or any other projectile
• Pacifiers
• Stuffed animals or dolls
• Marker, pens, and spray paint
• Flyers, stickers, and posters or anything deemed to be a promotional item
• Flammable products or materials and sprays
• Illegal substances of any kind
• Drug paraphernalia
• Vitamins
• Waterguns, water balloons, and/or any other kind of water projectile
• Any item that can be used as a weapon, including wallet chains
• Any item that can be used as a means to disturb the peace, endanger the safety of the crowd, and/or inflict damage to people and goods
• Fireworks, pyrotechnics, or any other kind of explosive
• Instruments
• Pets (except service animals with a current rabies certification)
• Totems made of any material OTHER THAN cardboard
• Please note this list is subject to change per the request of the artist and local authorities.

Allowed Items

• Medical style masks subject to inspection.
• Small clear reusable bags or containers allowed up to 12” x 6” x 12” or smaller. Bags larger than a small clutch bag (4.5” x 6.5”) should be composed of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC with a single compartment.
• Hydration packs (i.e. camelbaks) that are 2L or smaller and clutch purses/wallets that are 4.5”x 6.5” or smaller do not have to be clear. Medically necessary bags are also welcome. Hydration packs (ie. Camelbaks) must be empty upon arrival.
• Hydration packs and bags larger than mentioned above must be clear.
• Empty water bottles, including reusable and disposable water bottles
• One factory sealed bottle of water
• Non-professional cameras
• Lighters
• Sealed: cigarette packages, tampons, packs of gum, and chapstick/lip gloss
• Reusable Light Up Toys
• Prescription and OTC medications subject to specific conditions***
• Factory-sealed, non-refillable electronic or vapor cigarettes
• Flags (no wood or metal)
• Hula Hoops
• Totems (made of cardboard only – no wood/metal/PVC)

***Special Note About Prescription and OTC Medications: Prescription medication are allowed only in the original prescription bottle, any guests attempting to bring in prescription medication must have a government-issued photo identification card that matches the name printed on the prescription, and the pills in the bottle must match the description printed on the prescription.

Over-the-counter medications are allowed in provided that they are new and the original, factory-sealed container.

Festival Re-Entry

There is no re-entry.

Bag Policy

Clear reusable bags are welcome inside the festival venue as long as they are 12”x 6”x 12” or smaller. No clear plastic shopping/grocery bags will be permitted. Hydration packs (i.e. camelbaks) that are 2L or smaller and clutch purses/wallets that are 4.5”x 6.5” or smaller do not have to be clear. Medically necessary bags are welcome.

Hydration packs (ie. Camelbaks) must be empty upon arrival.

*PLEASE NOTE: ALL PATRONS AND ALL BAGS WILL BE SEARCHED AS YOU ENTER THE FESTIVAL. ANY AND ALL CONFISCATED ITEMS OR ANY ITEMS VOLUNTARILY SURRENDERED, WILL NOT BE HELD, CHECKED OR RETURNED.

ADA Information

ADA Entry is located at the box office entrance located on Arch St at the corner of Broad & Arch Street (northeast corner of Arch). Once inside the ADA entrance, there is an elevator that will guests to the main event level. There is also an escalator and staircase available. A designated ADA viewing platform will be available (located to the left side if you’re viewing the main stage). ADA guests are allowed one companion on the platform. This area is separate from the general admission crowd. There will be folding chairs available in this area. 

Please note ADA companions must also have a valid HiJinx ticket for entry to the event. 

An ASL interpreter will also be located on the platform for each day of the event.

Festival Medical + Security

There will be 24-hour medical stations and emergency personnel on site.

Hydrate!

Please stay hydrated and take care of yourself. Free water refill stations will be located throughout the main room of the venue. Also, a few water fountains are located near the restroom areas. 

Beverage & concession locations will also have canned water for sale. 

Cashless Payment

Please note food and beverage for purchase offerings will be available via cashless payment. Acceptable forms of payment include credit cards, debit card, Apple pay & Google pay. 

Food and Beverage

We will have an elite team of thoroughbred bartenders operating in 20,000+ feet of bar space for optimal sending potential. 

Bev will be available at various locations throughout the venue including numerous bar options for those 21+ (with valid government-issued ID). Patrons are welcome to purchase and have drinks with them throughout the venue. 

There will be a variety of food offerings including some local fare. 

Please note food and beverage for purchase offerings will be available via cashless payment. Acceptable forms of payment include credit cards, debit card, Apple pay & Google pay.
